John Hoder is a highly respected business and community leader who has dedicated over 20 years to building a company that is noted not only for providing outstanding customer service, but also for its reputation as being one of the best places to work in the area. John and his brother Jay founded Benefit Concepts in 1984 as a software company. Within a few years it became clear that clients needed to outsource the administration of both COBRA and FSAs (Flexible Spending Accounts). Today, under the leadership of John and Jay, Benefit Concepts has blended the power of technology with caring customer service to become leaders in the health and welfare administration outsourcing business and the pension administration business. Benefit Concepts provides service to more than 750 clients throughout the United States.
John received a B.A. in Economics from Wesleyan University and he holds the professional designation of Chartered Life Underwriter. John is active in his community and sits on the Board of the Boy Scouts of America and the Hatte Ide Chaffee Home, a nursing home serving the greater Providence, Rhode Island area.
